Club Intermed
Programmes commence in the Tawa Baptist Church hall at 7pm and finish there at 9pm (unless we tell you differently). Payments can be made to the Baptist Church office (Tues-Fri 8am-midday), or on the night.
Term 1 2011
We start at Willowbank at 7pm and finish there at 9pm. Bring $5, your water gun(s), and as many water bombs as you like, but the water bombs will all be pooled together (which means that you don't get to keep your own supply). A reduced entry charge of $2 (instead of $5) will apply to those who bring along at least 50 filled water balloons (to be shared around). If everyone does that, it'll mean we have heaps of ammunition! Do bring a change of clothing because you'll almost certainly get wet. If the weather is against us then you will be notified by text and we will have a popcorn and movie night at the Church hall.
February 25th - BACK TO FRONT NIGHT
A night filled with lots of challenges in the church hall to see if you can cope with doing things backwards. Includes a regressive meal. Book by Wednesday 23rd. Cost $7.50.
March 11th - IT'S A SPLIT
Tonight girls and boys go their separate ways. The girls meet in the church lounge for a night full of feminine craft and fun. As for the boys, they are in the church hall undertaking some serious men's work. Cost $5.
March 25th - TEN-PIN BOWLING
We're going bowling!! We meet at Strike Entertainment Centre, Kenepuru Drive, Porirua at 7pm. The pickup point is the church hall just after 9pm. We're hoping to book a few lanes and there will be prizes for the team with the best score, not to mention the best individual score and the worst bowler of the night. Confirm your place by booking by Wednesday 23rd. Cost $10.
April 8th - EGGS 'N' CROSSES
It's our last night this term. What does Easter means to us? We meet at the church hall for some Easter-themed games and activities. Cost $5. Optional: bring a piece of artwork or craft that you have made using mostly Easter eggs and be in to win a special prize. |
