The evening started at Porirua Bowland where 44 kids and a number of 'grown-up' onlookers enjoyed a game of 10-pin bowling. It was then back to the church hall for hot chips before heading along to the Main Road shops in teams of six or seven (the same teams as at the bowling) on a 'Quest' to collect answers to a bunch of questions. "Count the total number of tiles - made by Intermediate School pupils - which can be seen on the outside wall of the Library" was one example. Most of the others (like "What's the name of the Main Road florist?") were somewhat easier.
Every team answered all 18 questions (although not necessarily correctly), and there wasn't a whole lot separating Robyn's winning team, the 'White Chicks', from the others. They got 850 points out of a possible 900, those in the team being Aimee, Kelsey, Jessie, Michaela, Sophia, and Toni.
It was a full three hours' worth and a fun way to round off the first term.
