Tuesday, June 8th, 2004. As it was 'Teachers Only Day' at Nicola's school, Dad and daughter took off on an outing together. After breakfasting at McDonald's in Johnsonville, we jumped on the Johnsonville train into central Wellington, walked along Lambton Quay to the cable car which we rode up to the Botanical Gardens and meandered down to the playground. From there we walked downhill into town to Mum's office and had lunch with her, before boarding the train back to where we'd parked the car in Johnsonville, 7-8 minutes from home in Tawa.
