Main Road (north)

Held on Sunday 25th March, 2012

We had a pot luck dinner on Sunday commencing at 6.00pm and going on till about 8.30pm. About 25 individuals, including teenagers and children, participated.

Some who have been living around here for decades met for the first time on a friendly basis and had a chat about what Tawa was like years ago. John and Mavis have been living in Tawa for 75 years and have been in the same house for 51 years. The distinguished author of several novels has been here for over 15 years.
