McKeefry Grove

Our get-together in McKeefry Grove went beyond my expectations, especially after the worrying weather situation on Saturday. We checked the various forecasts and agreed at noon on Saturday to defer the event till Sunday. We picked it correctly and had a bright sunny start with 27 adults and all 15 children in attendance. Only three homes were not represented, with two of those giving their apologies as they would have come had they been available.

The range and large amount of food supplied beat everyone. We started at just after 4pm and, thanks to the city council providing a street light directly over our tables, we were able to clear up in near darkness. Everyone agreed it was a great idea - let's do it again.

Our age range was 3 years old through to 93 years old. Can any other street beat that?
