Lower Turriff Cres

Held on Saturday 15th March, 2014

In lower Turriff Cres we held our bbq on 15th March. The rain threatened us through a socialisation drink at 5.15pm but that did not deter anyone from attending. We welcomed a new face from number 6 who popped in to say hi, and we caught up with lots of old friendly faces.

The 2 bbqs were cranking - sausages were the main attraction with some other things as well. The tables were piled high with salads and drink, enough for everyone. Conversations were a-plenty, lots to talk about since last year's event ... house renovations, new jobs, pets, children etc.

The drizzly rain hit and we were prepared. Into the double garages, everyone sitting round chatting and laughing. Eventually the food was eaten, the drink drunk and home time beckoned. Until next year when someone hosts it in their driveway.
