The three sheep featured above have apparently been resident in Brasenose Park for several days (late February 2006), making occasional forays into Brasenose Place itself. They usually live up over the hill, and will probably return there shortly (but not of their own accord).
These photos were taken fairly hurriedly as sheep don't stay in one place long when people are around. The first two shots show them returning to the park from Brasenose Place - I wasn't quick enough to capture them on a suburban front lawn. The third shot shows them back up at the park. I sneaked up there by a different route and, from a distance, shouted out 'hey!' They obligingly stopped and faced the camera (as sheep do - yeah right!) for a nicely posed shot using the zoom. The fourth shot shows them trotting off past the playground in the direction of the bush - and who knows where?
