There are generally one or two signs on the Main Road (just north of Redwood Ave south) as you come into Tawa from the motorway. On this occasion, Sunday 9th September, a record was set with seven different signs in place. Too many perhaps to take them all in, and to keep one's eyes on the road! Just goes to show there's a lot happening in Tawa this month including the big 'Open Day' at the Tawa Community Centre.

A little further north, on the other side of the BP roundabout, the signs below were prominent (and still were nine days later). All to do with the upcoming local body elections. Postal voting takes place over the three-week period ending 13th October.
