Steve Mulholland breeds alpacas in the Takapu Valley, just outside Tawa. He sometimes brings one or two "to town", mostly to let the locals see and enjoy them. They do create a lot of interest, both with the young and the old. On this occasion he has taken 'Nazani' to Coronation Park to enable the kids at the adjoining kindergarten to see her. In the second shot he's leading her back along Oxford Street before heading home.
