Cats and dogs have never been the best of friends, far from it. A lot of dogs, including the one pictured, have this unexplainable urge to chase cats, unless the cat decides to stand its ground. In that situation, many a dog is left wondering what to do. The challenge has gone!

In this particular setting, the cat and dog are eyeballing each other. If the cat runs, the dog is likely to follow. However this dog won't be following far as it's on a tight lead, unless of course the owner has absentmindedly dropped the lead to get the photograph.
