Tawa's Chester Road starts off as, well, Chester Road where it meets Franklyn Road at its northeasternmost point. It wends its way around the foot of the hill where it's still Chester Road. However by the time it reaches its southwesternmost point at Kiwi Cres, it has strangely morphed into Chester Street. Maybe it's meant to be that way, but more than likely it's by 'accident' rather than 'design'. Whatever the case, the evidence can be seen above.
