Cook Island celebration The Tawa Cook Island community group meets together at the Tawa Community Centre on Friday afternoons to practise music, dance and to learn something of their cultural heritage. Their end-of-year celebration comprised both music and dance along with an ample supply of food as seen in these photos - a fun occasion with all those involved, both participants and audience, seeming to thoroughly enjoy themselves.
