Christmas Pot Luck Meal

Our fifth and final pot luck meal for the year took place on Saturday, 13 December 2008 with, no surprises here, a specifically Christmas theme.

Following a certain "ice-breaking quest" (a quick chance to "meet" others) and then the meal itself, we were privileged to have the Tawa Filipino Children's Choir sing a bracket of Christmas carols. And, to cap off the evening, a certain red-clad individual from the North Pole paid us a fleeting visit.

The pics below show Santa dishing out chocolate bars to both those in the audience and to some of the 25 or so in the Filipino choir.
