We all know what Anzac Day is about - a day to remember those who laid down their lives to ensure we can enjoy the freedom and peace we now seemingly take for granted.
Whilst many Anzac Day commemorations start at dawn, Tawa's parade leaves Woolworths' carpark at 9.45am and heads up Oxford Street to the RSA hall where a special service takes place.
These photos are a record of this year's parade on Saturday, 25 April 2009. "Lest we forget."
