The "Youth Drop In Centre" has been operating at the Tawa Community Centre since last month (July). Young people are invited to drop in after school each weekday through to 5.30pm for table tennis, air hockey, etc, or to simply hang out. The pic above shows Simon Croad, the new youth coordinator, and Hinetai Parekura feeding the kids after school on Monday 27th July. This was a one-off. A barbecue is planned for the odd occasion only!
