Photoshoot 2010
'Photoshoot' is a Tawa Baptist youth group activity which takes place on a Saturday evening each February. It usually involves 50-60 (or more) 'kids' and starts around 6pm to make the most of the remaining daylight hours. In groups of 4 or 5 everyone heads out with a list of 25-30 items/locations which they have to photograph, and the various members of the team must be included in each photo.
To provide enough transport, some parents help out with the driving. For one particular 'middle-aged' driver, last Saturday evening's 'Photoshoot' was his sixth on the trot. It's actually a lot of fun.
Some of the items/locations on this year's list were as follows: a cow, a cat and dog (together), a motorcycle, a bus, a roundabout, a pedestrian crossing, a rugby field, a fire truck, a freight train (not all of us managed this one), a beach, a water tank, Titahi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, a BK burger being eaten at McDonald's, a police car, a scout hall, a retirement village, a wheelchair, something to do with Aotea Lagoon (some ran out of time for getting there too), and so the list went on ...
The photos shown here are a small sampling from one particular group.
