The above shot shows bollards being put in place (late March) to stop vehicles accessing the area at the very centre of Tawa known as Tawa Plaza or simply the Plaza. Certain commercial vehicles have been known to drive onto the paving stones in this area and damage them. One of the worst 'offenders' was allegedly a Council rubbish truck. This new initiative is intended to put an end to such 'reckless behaviour'!
