Blossom time in Tawa Plaza

In the area known as "Tawa Plaza", at the very centre of Tawa, the trees are in blossom in the second half of October. These shots were taken on Friday, 22 October 2010.

Tawa's two pharmacies are situated on either side of the entrance to the plaza. Also in the vicinity are a bank, cafe, travel agency, fitness studio and Skinforme. The large furniture store at the end is currently vacant. The walkway at the right of the second pic takes one through to Woolworths' carpark and the supermarket itself. The "whirly-gig structure" in the first photo is officially the kereru sculpture. Of course if you live in Tawa you'd know all this stuff anyway.
