This shot shows the Shell service station on the left hand side of the Main Road as one heads south out of Tawa. Just past the pedestrian crossing the red car is turning into Boscobel Lane, at the end of which is Takapu Road railway station. Photographed at 4.35pm (late afternoon sun) on Sunday 15 May.

As you can see, the price of 91 octane fuel is $2.15.9 per litre. Earlier last week it had been as high as $2.21.9 per litre. One day after this photo was taken, it decreased again to $2.12.9 per litre.
