The frost this morning, Friday 15th July, was the heaviest we've seen this winter. In fact we've hardly had any at all, only one before now as best I recall. Usually we've experienced a few by this stage. We've had some weeks that have been pretty wet and miserable, but a distinct shortage of frosts with sunny days afterwards, as was the case on this occasion.
The first pic above was shot from the upstairs balcony, showing frost on rooves in Brasenose Place. The second is out on the street, and the third looking across Tawa from a gap in the vegetation at the end of the same street.
