Four days at
Disneyland

.[Part 2].
[Part 1] . [Part 3] . [Intro]

This page features a few shots in each of Frontierland, Fantasyland, Mickey's Toontown and Tomorrowland, and finishes with pics of the nightly fireworks display.

About to take off on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride. We waited 15 minutes or less for each of 2-3 rides on this one. The driverless 'runaway' BTMRR train whizzing around the mountainside. Another fun ride.
Mickey at the top of the Matterhorn. Matterhorn Bobsleds - we rode this three times with very little waiting involved.
Waiting for It's a Small World ride. Inside It's a Small World - "the happiest cruise that ever sailed 'round the world".
The ride even features a touch of New Zealand. A cool spray on a hot day - temperatures during our time at Disneyland were generally high 20s to low 30s Celcius (80-90 Fahrenheit).
Enjoying Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin in Mickey's Toontown. Mad Tea Party - three of us can actually be spotted in this one.
Soaring over London in Peter Pan's Flight. On the same ride - Captain Hook and co.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant - this was our very first ride eight years ago when the kids were considerably younger. As it really is a ride for smaller children, we didn't go on it this time. In Tomorrowland with the Disneyland Monorail station in the background.
People boarding the Space Mountain roller coaster, one of the best of them all, travelling inside and in the dark. Using the Fastpass system considerably shortened for us the waiting time for this very popular ride. The 'official photo' from Space Mountain, some of us really getting into the spirit of the occasion!
The Disneyland Railroad train which circumnavigates the park. I think there are actually up to four trains in motion at any one time. The official flag-lowering ceremony which takes place at 6pm each day, complete with national anthem and due respect.
Last feed at Disneyland for Nicola and me - $31.50 worth in NZ dollars. Photo of the cowgirl taken by her older sister.
Nic with her favourite character again. Walt and his favourite mouse.
Part of the magnificent fireworks display each evening at 9.25pm. People started getting into position near to the Castle soon after 8pm, some a whole lot earlier than that. The fireworks were accompanied by music, and were top-notch (in true Disney style).
