It was called a 'Mystery Nite' for the simple reason that up until a few days beforehand, even the organisers didn't know what was going to happen!

As it turned out, we landed up at Grasslees Reserve (and neighbouring streets) looking for answers to a whole bunch of questions and 'locating' various adults who were handing out treats. And, of course, there was Alvin, a 'friend' of Malcolm's - an interesting-looking but friendly enough character who was wandering about getting himself photographed with the kids, as shown below.
