At the start of 2010 we're featuring the Main Road roundabout and the shops at the very centre of Tawa.

Pohutukawa trees can be seen in bloom in both of these shots. They don't seem to have been quite as 'prolific' this time around as they sometimes are. Either that or it may be that some of us who have been out of town for a couple of weeks have missed them at their best. Whatever the case, they certainly add colour around the place at this time of the year. These photos were both taken on Monday morning, 11 January 2010.
