As you can see, I was a cute pup once. My family went looking for a new dog less than three months after their previous dog (Heidi) died just before Christmas 1996. I was born in Miramar, Wellington, on 12 January 1997, and that's where my dad bought for me $50 in early March. Just two of us were left in the litter and he picked me. He took me back to Tawa in a cardboard box in the back of his car. That wasn't the only thing he took home. Unfortunately lots of fleas had taken a liking to me, but my new parents made sure they got rid of those pretty quickly.
