More frost pics

We don't get that many good frosts (or bad, dependent on your point-of-view) here really. We've probably had 2 or 3 since mid-June when a real humdinger warranted a few photos on this site. See those here. This past Sunday morning, 26th July 2009, we woke up to a worthwhile frost. It was always on the cards when the car thermometer recorded the temperature as being a mere 1 degree around 9.30pm the previous evening on the 'lowlands' of Tawa, and 2 degrees on the 'highlands'.

These shots were all taken between 8.30-9.00am. The last one on the top row shows the roundabout and the Main Road in the centre of Tawa with churchgoers crossing the road. The photos on the second row are at Lyndhurst Park.
