Putting up the Rotary Book Fair signs

Tawa Rotary's annual book fair is the club's biggest local fundraising opportunity each year. Almost half the proceeds are directed to the Life Education Trust, the remainder to various groups including several in Tawa.

This year's book fair is taking place at Tawa Junction later this month (July 2012). These pics show the advertising signs being put in place at five different sites around Tawa. Doug Burrus (the man crouching in each photo) is the main organiser of the Rotary Book Fair. Robert Tredger is one of his many helpers. Malcolm Sparrow took the pics (and used the mallet to bang in at least half a dozen posts!).
