Practising for the
Tawa Schools and Community Festival 2004


The Festival was held in the Michael Fowler Centre on Tuesday, September 7th, involving around 900 singers. Three different segments of the combined mass choir, as well as the instrumental group, practised on a regular basis over the three months leading up to the festival. The various groups were photographed as follows:

  • 'Senior' children from Tawa's seven primary schools on Thursday afternoon, August 12th
  • Intermediate (Madrigals) and College kids (Dawn Chorus) on Friday morning, August 13th
  • Adults on Sunday afternoon, August 15th
