St Catherines Tce

Held on Sunday 30th March, 2014

We had our Neighbours' Day BBQ on Sunday 30th March. We have 14 houses in the street, and 9 houses attended.

The day was overcast and was threatening to rain, but we managed to cook, eat and socialise outside and even saw some sun! There were at least two new families to the street (we were one of them) who had not been to a BBQ before, and had not met a lot of the neighbours. That was then mixed in with a fair handful of families who have been here for up to 20 years, so have seen a lot of different people come and go.

There was lots of good conversation, talking about who has what cat (we seem to have a lot!!), and whose houses they are going into (yes I am talking about my two kittens).

I got a few photos of the day, but people seem to come and go a fair bit. I didn't get one of everyone together.
