A number of businesses in both Tawa and Porirua showed their support for the All Blacks with posters, balloons and flags, etc in their front windows and/or their inside walls. Good on them for getting into the spirit of the occasion!

Apparently a number of Lions supporters were staying at one or both motels in Tawa. And I've had first-hand reports from Tawa residents who came across them at Takapu Road station and in the mall at Porirua. As I didn't see any in these parts myself, there are no local shots of this friendly species on this page.
