I'd heard that the streets of Wellington were starting to buzz with all the Lions supporters in town. Shortly before midday on the Friday I headed into central Wellington to see for myself and meandered from one end of Lambton Quay to the other. Maybe I was in the wrong part of town because it didn't seem quite as 'exciting' as perhaps I'd come to expect. However there was no doubting that many Lions supporters were in our midst, judging by the number of red jerseys and blue & red jackets being worn on the streets.

Quite a few businesses had got into the spirit of the occasion, but in some cases you had to go inside their premises to be aware of this. Those with displays in their front windows, along with various other shots I took are shown in this section.
