Week 3 - Friday February 21st, 2003

Last week's featured sport (indoors because of wet weather) was soccer. This week's was rugby. Our special guests were three Hurricanes players-of-the-future (or at least they'd like to be!). The visiting rugby enthusiasts shared some of their rugby-playing experience and engaged the kids in a few ball skills outdoors. Other games/activities this time around were touch rugby, tug-of-war, and pop-the-balloon - as shown in these pics.

The drama group brought us a further presentation from the life of Joseph, the Bible hero who tried to do "the right thing" but whose own situation kept on going downhill. Life certainly didn't seem to be treating him fairly.
