Week 5 - Friday March 7th, 2003

Endurance sports were featured this week, and the various activities in which the kids participated were the board relay, indoor hockey, potato relay, and the endurance race. 118 kids on the night, our biggest number yet.

We heard more about Joseph whose life seemed to be a series of ups and downs. From a "high" as a contented teenager, he went "down" into slavery in a foreign land. Back "up" to being head of Potiphar's household, then "down" into years in prison. Even though he must have wondered at times whether God was still with him, Joseph determined with God's help to make the best of whatever situation in which he found himself.
