One year the school holds a fully-fledged Saturday 'gala', the next year it's a Friday evening 'community barbecue'. This time around it was the latter. It was a pleasant evening weather-wise despite a prediction of rain arriving in time for the weekend (yet again!). One of the big attractions on this occasion was the police dog display. Most of the photos below are in relation to that.

As the compiler of this page is reponsible for running the 'chocolate trailer' each year and didn't get to see a whole lot of what was happening elsewhere, only a relatively small number of photos was taken of this year's event. A much wider selection of last year's gala is available here.

Just as proceedings were winding down, the rain began. It still hasn't stopped early Saturday afternoon as this page is being put together!
