It's that time of year again when the kowhai trees are in bloom - mid-September to mid-October. They stand out well, even on a dull day like when this photo was taken on Tuesday 4th October. These trees are in Lyndhurst Road near Main Road, and this isn't the first time these ones have appeared on this site.
