The 2003 event, Tuesday December 15th, took place on an evening which was anything but summery, with a cool southerly keeping the temperature down! Despite that, a good number turned out to enjoy what is an integral part of Christmas for the local community.
Guest performers this time were the Tawa College MIB (Musical Island Boys) barbershop quartet [see the last three photos in the first row]. And the 'host' of this year's lolly scramble was the Tawa Community Constable [see the first two photos in the bottom row].
