COMMUNITY CAROLS AT GRASSLEES RESERVE. TAWA, NZ AND FROM 2006, AT. ST FRANCIS XAVIER SCHOOL
Up until 2004 the community used to get together each December for an hour of Christmas carols alongside the rose garden at Grasslees Reserve - the event being known as 'Carols & Roses'. The singing was usually led by the Wellington Male Voice choir and accompanied by the Salvation Army band.
In 2006 the venue was changed to St Francis Xavier School with the singing led by Our Lady of Fatima Samoan Community Choir. Click here for the most recent 'Tawa Rotary Carols' photos.
